Touring Club Italiano: Visita Guidata Teatralizzata a Bisceglie, domenica 6 marzo

È organizzata dal Touring Club Italiano, in collaborazione con il Teatro del Viaggio e l’Associazione Pasticcerie Storiche Biscegliesi, la visita guidata “teatralizzata” che ha luogo a Bisceglie domenica 6 marzo, con i Consoli TCI Luciana Doronzo e Gianluigi Belsito.

“Al tempo d’i dolci sospiri” è il tema dell’iniziativa incentrata sulle bellezze del centro storico biscegliese e sulla bontà del dolce tipico conosciuto proprio col nome di Sospiro.

Il programma prevede la visita al centro storico di Bisceglie, borgo medioevale cinto da mura aragonesi del XV secolo, un dedalo di viuzze e piazzette, con le sue chiese: la Cattedrale, la cui costruzione iniziò nel 1073 e al cui interno sono custodite le reliquie dei tre santi protettori, con un bellissimo coro ligneo intagliato, di forme rinascimentali; la chiesa di Sant’Adoeno, protettore dei soldati normanni, fondata nel 1074 ma con una facciata trecentesca; e appena fuori le mura antiche, la piccola chiesa di Santa Margherita, costruita nel 1197 con le caratteristiche delle chiese rurali, al cui interno vi è la pregevole tomba dei Falconi. Punto centrale della visita è il Museo Diocesano con la sua mostra di argenti sacri.

La visita è arricchita da una forma di “teatro esperienziale” sul tema del sospiro, il dolce tipico biscegliese ricoperto di glassa, la cui nascita racconta diverse leggende.

L’inizio è previsto alle 9,30 dal Teatro Garibaldi e la giornata si conclude, in orario pomeridiano, con la visita al Dolmen della Chianca.
