Nella 35esima edizione del conferimento della Bandiera Blu d’Europa, ideato dalla Foundation for Environmental Education, figura, tra i 201 comuni italiani premiati, anche la città di Bisceglie, come annunciato dal sindaco Angelantonio Angarano.

Il totale dei lidi italiani d’eccellenza per servizi e acque pulite sale a 416, circa il 10% delle spiagge segnalate a livello mondiale. A questo risultato si aggiungono 81 approdi turistici premiati, tra cui il Porto Turistico Marina Resort ‘Bisceglie Approdi’.
